2nd Annual Spin For Veterans

The Tower of Hope held a 2nd annual "Spin For Wounded Veterans" with our hosts, the beautiful New York Sports Clubs of Croton and Dobbs Ferry, to raise funds for Service Dogs for wounded Combat Veterans.  It costs approximately $25,000 to train and place a service dog. Please tell your friends about this exciting event!

Croton: Sunday, January 23, 2011
Dobbs Ferry:  Sunday, February 27, 2011
Four 45 minute spin classes led by experienced instructors raised over $8,000 in Croton, and $12,000 in Dobbs Ferry, in January and February respectively.  On hand was a wounded veteran and his partner service dog who described the difference having a service dog makes in the life of a disabled person.  Refreshments were provided, as always, by our friends at Shoprite..

Shoprite has once again agreed to provide support with refreshments for spinners and spectators, as well as promotion of the event.  Thanks again to the Shoprite team that supports TTOH so frequently!
For the Croton event, we were thrilled to welcome Croton Auto Park back as  a Silver Sponsor.  They have also announced that they will be making an exciting offer of service to our veterans.  If you are a veteran, please call Lou Giordano at 914-271-5100 for details!
Dr. Bruce Hoskins of Croton Animal Hospital has continued his incredible support of the Tower of Hope by offering to be our Bronze Sponsor at this year's event.
